OncoGenex cultivates a company culture that emphasizes consistent challenge of what we do and how we do it. This provides the best possible chance of successfully bringing new products that improve quality of life and extend life to cancer patients. We believe that we each have key experiences and ideas that enable us to develop such medicines. However, we must challenge those experiences and ideas and extract and incorporate the best, and discard or improve on the inadequate and mediocre.

How We Achieve This
This drive for the best needs to be captured in everything we do; research, development, manufacturing, quality assurance, peer interactions, communications, etc. In spite of this culture of critical evaluation of everything we do, decisions must be quick, not endlessly pontificated upon. Our strategies must be conceived with tremendous forethought of things that may be inconceivable and plans developed to overcome these obstacles should they arise.
